One of my top natural beauty gurus, who has helped me to personally transition from perm to 100% natural locstress – is about to shock the natural beauty world yet again! Ladies, the creative maven behind Carol’s Daughter, Lisa Price, has let the cat out of the bag in a beauty exclusive with Essence Magazine.

We have a very large presence with the natural girls, but the products are made for any hair type.” – Lisa Price

So what’s the next wave? A brand new hair care launch, exclusive to Target! The partnership comes about, as ethnic women begin to flock in drones to Target, as their newly reinvented “ethnic” aisles are now considered multicultural.

[Target] is a pleasant place to shop and not one where you feel embarrassed, or have to go and dust things off before purchasing.”

The collection features 21 assorted hair care/styling products, including the coveted Hair Milk and Black Vanilla (my ultimate fave).

Carol’s Daughter Sacred Tiare will adorn signature ingredients, like moringa seed oil, to protect hair from sun-drying, babassu oil, keeping hair sleek and strong, calendula, vitamin D5 and coconut oil, to nourish, keep healthy and reduce frizz.

Remember loves, this collection is for all hair types, relaxed and natural, thin, curly, coarse, thick….

Lisa wants all the sisters who are currently in transition:

If the transitioning process just startedcand you’re ready to run and grab the box of relaxer and start over, just stop for a minute, accept where you are and recognize that this, too, shall pass. Once you have this acceptance, you love yourself a little bit more, making it easier because you aren’t looking in the mirror, hating what you see. Hating what you see, causes stress, and that stress causes you to go off path. Be patient with yourself, and love yourself through the process no matter what it is!” – Lisa Price

The collection will be available exclusively at Target in March 2014 and include a sulfate-free shampoo ($12), fortifying conditioner ($14), restoring mask ($15), leave-in conditioner ($12), smoothing serum ($15) and styling cream ($12).
